The bits themselves are magnetized, which is obviously extremely useful when dealing with tiny screws and small spaced.

The bits are made from 6150 tool steel. This type of steel is made additionally hard through the addition of chromium and vanadium. This created a hardness of C-55 to C-58 in the Rockwell range.

The bits are engraved so you can easily tell them apart and keep them well ordered in their case.

The Driver

All the bits in the iFixit 64 Bit Driver Kit fit perfectly into the driver. The driver is also magnetized, ensuring that the bits stay snug while in use. The handle provides up to 8.5 N-m of torque. It has a comfortable, solid grip and is made from aluminum. The bearing in the driver has virtually no play.

this is definitely well designed and ergonomic. I found that the design of the driver helped prevent any strain or discomfort to my hand, even after a long duration of usage.

The Case

The case of this precision screwdriver kit is what will make the very first impression on you. The case features magnetic closure, ensuring durability. The case stays closed when you want it to without any issues.

The top of the case has walls which allow you to use it as a screw sorting and holding area. You can use this to keep the different screws you are using separated and sorted.

The bits sit in a foam case. At first I thought that the foam might become loose over time, but the design is actually really snug and I never had a problem with bits getting loose. Between that and the magnetic top, you will not loose any bits.
